The Adamawa State Police Command headquarters was attacked in the early hours of Wednesday, causing panic in Yola, the state capital.
The Police Command headquarters located at the heart of Jimeta community in Yola North local government area was attacked for at about 30 minutes.
SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident before noting that things have been put under control.
Nguroje said the attack was repelled, but the identities of those behind it remain unknown.
He, noted further that investigations were ongoing to ascertain the cause of the attack and those behind it.
