After a 3-2 aggregate win against Tanzania over the two legged encounter, Nigeria’s Falconets are through to the final round of 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria’s Falconets advanced to the fourth round of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying tournament for 2024 after defeating Tanzania 2-1 in Abuja on Sunday.

The first leg of the encounter ended last week with a 1-1 tie between the two sides.

Five minutes later, Jamila Rajani Mnunduka gave the visitors a point after a goalmouth scramble.

After defeating Tanzania 2-1 in Abuja on Sunday, Nigeria’s Falconets advanced to the fourth round of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying tournament for 2024.

Falconets of Nigeria in the fourth round, will take on Burundi with the winners set to qualify for the World Cup.

A spot in the 2024 Women’s World Cup will be guaranteed to the overall winners.
