Mr. Murtala Aliyu Gayarie, LGI, Dandi local government of Benue state had announced that an ex-corps member, Safiya Jibril together with her daughter lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident on her way back home.
The LGI made the announcement via NYSC BATCH A B C 2022 Facebook page on friday 5th of November 2022
Mr. Murtala stated “With a biggest heartfelt I announced to you the passing away of my ex-corps member amongst those who passed out on Thursday (Batch C2), in person of Safiya Jibril. She passed away together with her only daughter (Aisha) in a ghastly accident on her way to join her husband in Benin Republic yesterday from Kamba”.
The LGI described late ex-corps member Safiya as hard working and dedicated being during her service, even though she was married.
It was gathered by ENTRUST REPORTERS that Safiya Jibril who passed out on Thursday graduated in 2019 from Kebbi State University of Science and Technology where she studied Biochemistry.
It was confirmed that Mr Murtala had reached the family of the late ex-corps member through the husband to pass sympathize with them but the husband was showering praise on her late wife, he said “Sir, Safiya had being such a nice woman”.
The LGI therefore urged people to pray for the departed sould and equally prayed that May Allah grant them and eternal Bliss and comfort the families, he concluded.
