Nigeria Under 17 female team, Flamingoes Rewarded N2.1million by Ratel Sport Development Foundation

The Nigeria under 17 female team, Flamingos have have been rewarded with a whopping amount of N2.1million by Ratel Sport Development Foundation after they qualified for semifinal of Fifa under 17 women World cup.

The announcement was made via phone call to Flamingoes on friday by Barrister Paul Edeh, President of Ratels Sports Development Foundation, after they defeated USA.

The Flamingoes had earlier been rewarded with N1.7 million during their World Cup qualifier stages by the Foundation which focuses on women and young people development but have now increased it to N2.1 million after their historic victory against free scoring USA in the quarter final.

In a further statement, Barrister Edeh, the president of Ratel Sport Development Foundation promised the flamingoes that N3 million will be rained on the team if they make landmark achievement by reaching final of under 17 women World.

It could be recalled that the flamingoes of Nigeria broke the record of reaching semifinal of Fifa under 17 women World cup for the first time this year but Nigerian team could futher break another record of reaching the that could capped with the Fifa under 17 women World cup trophy if things go as planned.
