Government of Kwara State on Tuesday declared Wednesday 5th October, 2022 as public holiday for the teachers in the state as part teachers day celebration.
It was contained in a statement issued by Mr. Peter Amogbonjaye, the Press Secretary Ministry of Education And Human Capital Development that the Permanent Secretary of ministry, Mrs Mary Kemi Adeosun made this known on Tuesday in her office.
Mrs. Adeosun commended Mallam AbdulRaman AbdulRasaq, the Governor of the state of Harmony for the unprecedented improvement brought to the standard of living of Teachers in Government schools across the state.
Teachers are hereby enjoyed to reciprocate the good gesture of the Governor by impacting knowledge in students under their care.
